Kiran Millwood Hargrave reads The Mercies

We were due to feature author Kiran Millwood Hargrave at the Acorn Penzance to talk about her latest book ‘The Mercies’.

One of the disappointing aspects of the lockdown for us has been having to cancel and postpone a series of exciting events we had planned and this was one of them. Already known as an exciting weaver of tales for teens, The Mercies is her first book for adults and a fabulous treat for readers who love historical fiction with brave women at the helm.

To wet your apetite for what is in store we are delighted to take part in Pan Macmillan’s #VirtuallyTogether tour. We hope to welcome Kiran to Penzance in the not too distant future.

We have signed copies in stock at £14.99 and so let us know if you would like to reserve one for when we open in hopefully a few days time.
